Silver pugs are rare and exotic, not recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC). However, other prominent registries like the Kennel Club (UK) and Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) include silver as a part of the pug’s standard coloration. The basic coloration of silver pugs consists of a grayish sheen to their coat. Because of their rarity, the price of these dogs is on the higher side, between $1200 and $1500.
Silver Fawn
The silver fawn is a lighter shade of the regular fawn coloration. Its coloration is similar to the silver shade with a grayish sheen seen on their body. Some silver fawn dogs could come in a blend of several colors alongside gray like reddish-gold and light or deep apricot. The Canadian Kennel Club recognizes the silver fawn as a color variant of the pug.
Silver Platinum
Platinum-colored pugs have a coat similar to the silver ones just that it comes in a deeper shade of gray.
